One day, this site HAD to exist. During the last couple of years, pigeon sport has been confronted with several technological innovations and new initiatives. One loft races, electronic time systems, artificial insemination and pigeon web sites, are only some of the best known examples.

All these changes have only been introduced during the last couple of years and many initiatives and new technological applications will soon follow. The question is not whether we are for or against all these changes, we will simply have to live with them and make use of these novelties .

However, we will also have to make sure that these changes are accessible to a large public. Pigeon sport has, to a certain extent, always been a social activity and it has to stay this way! • Marc Janssens, living in Merelbeke (Belgium) and pigeon fancier since childhood (through his father Roger of course), had in July 2002 the idea to build a web site on which pigeon fanciers from all over the world would be able to manage their pedigrees FOR FREE. Other services would be developed and offered on this site in order to make the project financially realistic.
• Jean Janssens, living in Humbeek (Belgium), and also a devoted pigeon fancier since many years, is the founder of the flourishing company "HORIZON EXPRESS" (pigeon products) and the pigeon breeding loft "LEONA". As soon as Jean heard what Marc intended to realise, he joined the project.
